Mark Taylor

Lead Pastor

Mark Taylor, a native of California, was called to ministry at an early age. His calling took him throughout the United States, ministering in word and song. His passion for God caused strong feelings to grow in him for the surrounding community of Hanford, where his parents were raised. This passion has expanded to communities all over the valley where he spent several years teaching youth and adult congregations about the love of God. Now they are so excited to be serving Grover Beach and it's surrounding communities in the Five Cities area.

Walking in the anointing of God, Mark has learned to use his shortcomings and personal life experiences to communicate to those around him.  Mark enjoys using the convenience of modern day technology to illustrate the words and messages God places upon his heart.  He is committed to bringing a message of deliverance to the lost, a message of hope to the hopeless and message of redemption to those who feel unredeemed.

He holds an associate of science in human services from the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA and a bachelor of arts in sociology from Brandman University out of Irvine, CA. He currently, is at the beginning of pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry (D. Min.) (emphasis on clinical counseling) after completing his Masters of Arts in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling, both through the Pentecostal Theological Seminary of Cleveland, TN.  He has served in several non-profit organizations where he has held various positions of leadership, encompassing social work and mental health case management.

Both he and his wife have a heartfelt compassion for people and their community; passion to see others' faith, marriages, family and lives restored. Mark and Christy continue to devote themselves to connecting individuals to God through experience and relationship, not just a religion.
They would love to meet with you.

Don Passineau

Assistant Pastor

Don was born in Sparta, Wisconsin where he grew up and eventually attended high school and played various sports. After feeling a call from the Lord in high school to preach the Gospel, he was drafted into the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam from 1965-1968. He experienced many things during the war that God used to shape and direct a deep relationship with the Him.  These experiences, though difficult, have developed a sense of compassion and empathy for the broken and hurting.

Don holds an Exhorter's license in the Church of God, Cleveland TN and has studied many courses which allow him to teach and interact with anybody he comes in contact with.  He thrives in conversation and people are drawn to his ministry as the Lord gives him purpose and value.  Along with serving as the assistant pastor of RHC, Don is the founder of the ARK - Acts of Random Kindness, a non-profit organization serving those community members in need.
